Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath — the Char Dham of Uttarakhand, high in the Garhwal Himalaya. The classic pilgrimage, walked and climbed as much as travelled.

This is not a booking. Nothing is owed, nothing is confirmed — you are telling the committee that a seat should be counted for you while we decide the route.
Registration proper — passports, medical details, emergency contacts — comes later, once the route is chosen. We are deliberately not asking for any of that yet.

Questions
Before you ask
How much will it cost?
We do not know yet, and we would rather say that than invent a number. The cost depends on the route, the group size and how far in advance we book — which is exactly why we are counting interest first. Say "depends on the cost" on the form and we will come to you with the price before asking anything else.
Which route has been chosen?
Neither, yet. It will be one or the other — not both. The committee decides once we can see who wants to come and when they can travel.
Who can come?
Boys and girls both. Anyone under 18 will need a parent or guardian arrangement in place at registration, but at this stage just register their interest along with yours.
How long is it?
A minimum of 21 days — three weeks — on either route. Worth checking now whether you can get that time off work or school.
I am not in the UK. Can I still come?
Yes. Past yatras have had people joining from outside the UK, and the form asks where you would travel from so we can plan joining points properly.
Am I committing to anything?
No. No payment, no deposit, no obligation. You are telling us to count you while we decide.
What happens to my details?
They are used to plan this yatra and to contact you about it, and are not shared outside the committee. We are deliberately not collecting medical or passport information yet — that belongs at registration, once there is a confirmed trip to register for.
